The house and location were absolutely amazing! The weather wasn’t as grand as we would liked but we had the beautiful house to play board games. Absolutely everything you need for the beach, cooking meals and cleaning. I have never stayed in such a well stocked house as this one. And…. The cookware and dishes were good quality!! The beds were comfortable and spacious! Nearly soundproof walls kept us from hearing anything except the chairs scraping the floor upstairs. Very responsive host! Thank you for sharing your home!!

We enjoyed our stay. Check in was super easy, the place was clean, we enjoyed the large yard for the kids to easter egg hunt. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at this lake house was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect getaway for our family. The views of the water were beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset, and the peaceful atmosphere made it so easy to relax and unwind. Mornings were special—sitting outside, laughing, and making memories we’ll never forget. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. This trip was filled with so much fun, bonding, and unforgettable moments. We’re already talking about coming back! Highly recommend for anyone looking to create lasting family memories.

Stayed during President's Day weekend - wanted to be close to Cumberland Gap for hiking (about 20 min away) and this location was perfect! Nights were very quiet - in general, the road has very little traffic. Close proximity to grocery stores. The accommodations were perfect - kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Hot tub was clean and we enjoyed it every night. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for our family Christmas vacation! Plenty of space for our 12 people. The outdoor deck with a couch and tv was our favorite spot in the house because we could all be together!

This is an excellent place for a family vacation during Christmas. They even set up a charming tree that looked stunning and made it easy for Santa to know where to leave gifts and stockings. View of forest and lake is beautiful and remote, not the easiest place to find, but it’s definitely worth it. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We baked cookies fir Santa and were incredibly impressed with the kind and amount of cooking utensils made available with us, including a hand mixer. The kids had a blast playing in the pool every night (there are plenty of lifeguards in this family) the adults enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. It was great that there were rooms attached bathrooms close together, and the bunk room was a lot of fun for the grandchildren.we’ll be visiting again.

Our family had a great time. The views, the house were both great. The host was very responsive. During the stay there was an issue with the TV. We notified him, and he had a new one delivered and installed the same day. We had a great time overall, the place was conformable. We all felt like home.

This was exactly what we needed. Last minute work trip and was able to bring the family out for a few days. The host were SUPER flexible with our stay and went above and beyond to accommodate our unexpected neediness :) We were able to start working early and was able to not only check in early, but an entire day early. We even added a couple more nights on the end. The house is super cozy and the hot tub was perfect for the snowy night we had during our stay. Bedrooms were comfy and spacious especially with 3 toddlers. Would have loved to use the kayaks that were right outside the backdoor past the cute firepit, but work came first. Great grocery store (with a Starbucks) not even 10 minutes down the road. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Amazing! My siblings and all of the kids together got thanksgiving and everything was perfect! Open floor plan was perfect for all of us cooking together. Three refrigerators! The kids loved the indoor pool. Plenty of room for 10 adults, 5 kids, and 2 infants. Hosts were extremely responsive when we needed it. Big grill! The Christmas tree was a nice touch for family Holiday photos!

Our entire family (4 generations from 6 to 80) loved our weekend here! It had plenty of things to cook with (2 crock pots, amazing grill, hand mixer, blender, etc). loved that there were enough plates/glasses/silverware for our large geoup to eat a meal and then load dishwasher and it would be ready for the next meal but still have some left "just in case". The layout of the house was perfect - most of the bedrooms were separated by either bathrooms or laundry area so your rooms were not back to back (no snoring neighbor to keep you awake!) 3 washers and dryers would come in handy in the summer! The swim spa was wonderful and the hot tub on the deck had the most beautiful view! I would definitely recommend to everyone (who doesn't want to go in the fall like we do- can't have it being booked on our intended weekend!)
